The artist Vassilis Moralis was born in 1975 in Thessaloniki.
He studied classical jewelry at O.A.E.D. specializing in antiquity. From 1991 to 2000 he studied next to the artist Stratos Hadjiemanual.
He has made four solo exhibitions with massive constructions (Kalfayan Gallery in Thessaloniki, DESTE Foundation and more). Also he has participated in many group events throughout Greece.
Since 2018, he creates only jewelry, due to a health problem that prohibits him from using heavy machinery and tools. As a basic material he uses - alone or in combination with other materials - aluminum, which he considers "the metal of our century".
His creations have been presented, among others, at the London Fashion Week 2018 in collaboration with the designer Dimitris Strepko.
The famous visual artist created "Elliniko Fos", a hand-made collection of sun-shaped limited edition items, consisting of aluminum necklaces, rings and earrings as well as from jewelry resembling to columns of an ancient Greek temple. All items are collectible.
