Room Jitrois at St George Lycabettus

Ιt all started on December 1, 2018, when Ms Ada Iliopoulou was in London and Jitrois held a photo session for his new collection at the studio of the well-known photographer and film director Rankin.
Instantly, the idea came up to proceed to a wider collaboration; thus, the Stay Gold Room 211 project was born at St George Lycabettus, where the main photo of the room showcases the famous designer's golden collection.

Not so long ago, thanks to the contribution of Ms Ada Iliopoloulou, Jean Claude Jitrois, a philhellene who literally adores the Hellenic history acquired a room dedicated to him at the 5* hotel St. George Lycabettus Athens, recently voted as the hotel with the “Best View in Europe”.
The room was designed and decorated by Greek architect, Katerina Efthymiou, of Positive+ Architects. Gold is the predominant color in the room, along with some touches of blue, thus paying tribute to the French designer’s latest collection.
At the unveiling of his room, Jean Claude stated, “I am so happy that there is now a room in my name in one of the most prestigious hotels in Greece. I hope that the guests who stay there will love and respect Greece as much as I do. The ‘Stay Gold’ collection reminds us to remain faithful to our values and the blue of Greece which inspires me and reminds me above all of the Hellenic ethos I know and love”.
St. George Lycabettus, which was recently mentioned in Forbes alongside Le Meurice (Paris) and the Ritz (Madrid), is a historical hotel in which the thematic rooms are based on the triptych ART, FASHION & PHOTOGRAPHY, thus portraying the Hellenic civilization. The hotel is located in Kolonaki, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of Athens.
